Exhausted !

All i can say i'm really exhausted these few months, with a 7 months baby in my tummy and a heavy job scope which required me to travel very often; seems like once every week or sometime once in every two weeks. So, as you can imagine it's really tired for my current body condition.
Okie...just to recap, what have i done these few months?hmmm...i brought my little angel to visit her dear daddy at China last month. I have excused from my company for 8 days annual leaves and spent about 12 days in China. However, i still have to response to my email either coming from customer side or my collegues eventhough i'm in holiday. During the time in China, darling brought us to Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin for my pre-natal honeymoon trip. Hahahaha...no doubt, it is sweet and loving througout the journey. As for the trip itinerary, needless to repeat again as darling has share with you guys at his earlier blog.
One week after i came back from China, darling was coming back to KL for his interview. The time being with him is totaly feel good for me. I'm like a queen in the house with a little hostage. hahahahahaha.....
As for my preganancy status, is always a good news as usual, baby is growing healty and active. She can kick, move and turning around most of the time. And the most exciting part is, i can feel she is strenching her body im my tummy until i can sense her foot/knee on top of my tummy. Reall good feel right?
During my darling back home, we also took the opportunity to have some maternity shoots by my dear younger brother. The outcome of the pictures are pretty nice and can tell that he did put in a lot of effort to edit those pictures for us. Thanks to my dear brother for spending time for us and give us such a wonderful memories during my preganacy period.

Just Blabbing

Oh God I am sleepy and my wife will not be reaching home anytime soon, not at least in another 2 hours time. Sigh .. poor honey! Miss you so much but please get home faster .. pleaseeeeeee! I want to sleep aaa ... And I am hoping wholeheartedly. :P

By the way, to think of this blog. I have a feeling that this is turning into my blog.. haha! Where are your entries, honey??? :) Anyway, please bear with us, ladies and gentlemen. My wife is unbelievably caught up with work in recent months. Hence the missing HER entries.

And to think of my very own other blog, if you are still thinking you are getting any of my new entries, stop doing that. Take my advise. Read it all here. Hehe. I got lazy. I am not going to blah about my excuses. But yes, I got lazy. And to amplify my laziness even further, I am quitting Twitter! :P Just too much to maintain. Oh well at least I gave them a shot, right? But seriously. I got a day job people. On top of that, Facebook, Blogging, phonecalls home and my laziness are enough to keep me occupied 24/7.

I think I should stop here. I am going to call my wife now for status check and crash myself into bed right after. Another long training day tomorrow.

Leaving the Company ..

Well, you guys are leaving, I am not just going to sit around and watch, right? Hell I am not going to miss the fun!

Okay, it's not that funny. This few weeks has been pretty stressful, you know, dealing with work, vacation (Alright, gotta admit, this is not stressful :P), job interviews, trip back home, training and most of all, thinking of if the company would make me stay for a better package. It's finally done now! At least for the part where I braved myself expressing my interests and the management eventually stood still on their "no better package" policy. I know I am going home now.

There are definitely going to be mixed feelings, no doubt. Been here for two and a half years. It's not short to begin with. The wonderful people I have the pleasure to know, the fun I have enjoyed, the new experience I am blessed with and all those things China and this company has been providing me, all these mean so much and they are most memorable. (Let's not think that I am sitting next to a dustbin filled with soaking wet tissues while writing this, alright? I am not crying :D)

While there are ample things to be missed, unfortunately, there are also things I look forward to - I get to go home and be closer to my family, witnessing the birth of my baby girl and a new job, hopefully a good one, with plenty of challenge.

I suppose I have planned to write about this another day but while waiting for my wife getting home from a business trip at this hour, I just gotta think of something to do to stay awake and to kill time. Sigh .. what is wrong with her company anyway?! She is freaking 7-months pregnant for God sakes! Give her a break!

Danny's Top 20 Pick up Lines .. Enjoy!

I would like to seriously think that what I am about to write next will not be used by you guys to pick up girls. It's not going to work! At least at a serious state. Unless, you are trying to be humorous about it while breaking the ice. So, here they are, my 20 favorites for your reading pleasure. Wahahaha!
  • Can you give me directions...to your heart? (Where else would I go :P)
  • Is it hot in here or is it you? (Classic!)
  • You don't need car keys to drive me crazy. (Again, Classic!)
  • I wish I were sine squared and you were cosined squared, because together we could be one. (This is freaking humorous! Especially for all the engineering guys!)
  • I'm feeling a little off today. Would you like to turn me on? (Triple classic!)
  • Can I have your picture? [Why?] So I can show santa what I want for christmas!
  • Do you have a band-aid? [Why?] I hurt my knee when I fell for you.
  • Do you believe in love at first sight or do I have to walk by again?
  • Are you a parking ticket? Cause you got FINE written all over you. (Woo hoo!)
  • I lost my teddy bear, can I sleep with you? (I seriously hope this will work :P)
  • Your feet must be tired, because you've been running through my mind all day long.
  • I lost my phone number. Can I have yours? (Super duper classic!)
  • Got any raisins? [No.] Then how about a date? (Lame!)
  • You know what would look great on you? Me. (Super lame! Wahaha!)
  • Am I cute enough yet? Or do you need more to drink?
  • That’s a nice shirt. Can I talk you out of it?
  • All those curves! And me with no brakes! (Ooo .. hawt!)
  • Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?
  • If you were a new sandwich at Mcdonalds, you’d be called McGorgeous. (I'm lovin' it!)
  • I think I need to call heaven because they’ve lost one of their angels.
  • If you and I were Squirrels, I'd store my nuts in your hole. (Okay, 18PG please!)
I really laughed my ass off the chair while reading all these!

How about a haircut!

Woohoo! It’s another haircut day! I can’t stress it enough, I enjoy going for a haircut here in China. It’s like one of my monthly chores of avoiding myself looking like a freaking 40 year old Samseng. (Note: Samseng = Rascal in English) On top of that, I got to shave in order to bring my age down to maybe, say 30. That’s a pretty great leap though. Therefore, I don’t freaking mind the work. Seriously. Plus, what more to say, if you really enjoy having a haircut, right?

Tell you what I like about the haircut experience here in China. (Okay, maybe not the whole of China, I am pretty sure they are similar in at least in the Jiangsu region) The way I analyze it, it can be broken down to 3 simple stages.

Stage #1: Hairwash

Staff: Hai Ni Hao (Translation: Hi, how do you do?) wash or cut?
Me: Wash and cut.
She then sits me down on a recline-able chair.
Staff: Normal shampoo or good one?
Me: Normal will do. (Knowing that I am going home for a good shower anyways)
Then the hairwash begins. With some water squeezing and mixing with the “normal” shampoo, my head turns in to a snowball. (Suppose that is pretty similar to what happens back in Malaysia) Continuous washing for 20 minutes, with a little head massages in the middle, I can almost fall asleep, no shit! :P

Stage #2: Extra pampering – body massage and ear cleaning

This is absolutely no professional body massage nor it is professional ear cleaning service. They are solely done by some young ladies in their early 20s hired only provide the hairwash, massage, and ear cleaning services, maybe some other services which I am obviously not aware of. No guys providing these in the salon though, if you are wondering. What the young ladies are really doing, however, I could gather, is to please the male patrons, providing them with the conversations they prefer, be it regular or “dirty”, giving them visual satisfaction (Guess what? They are hired for their looks too! :P), and ultimately, the least important function of all, the massages services etc. Basically, the goal is to offer the patrons something that is making their money worth. I am not saying that there are no female patrons in the salon, there are plenty, as a matter of fact. The female staffs are providing all the services to them as well. Well, as a female patron, you don’t want male staff to put their hands on you, do you? Therefore, this kind of reality is making the salon businesses hire young female staffs, like killing two birds with one stone! So smart ehh … hah!
Anyway, from my experience, I only enjoy the pampering, not the conversation. I would just close my eyes once they lay their hands on me. Let them do their job and I enjoy the rest of the process. I don’t think they want to have a conversation with me, seriously. Maybe I look a little bit too mature :P Maybe the ring on my hand tells them to stay away. Or maybe of my casual outfit – Tee, shorts and slippers. (Come on, I don’t go to the salon in shirt, long pants and black shinny leather shoes like the Chinese do .. Hah!) Anyway, it’s all good. That is exactly what I want! Shut up and work it! Haha.

Stage #3: Finally, the haircut!

You will only be attended by male hair-stylists. There will not be any female in this “department”. I don’t know why but it just sort of happens this way. There was one time I popped out the question to one of the female staffs who does the massage on me, and she went like “I don’t know why. There is just no female hair-stylist, even if I am one, people would still prefer the male stylists over me.” Weird huh? Just the nature of the business, pretty conservative, I guess. I would bet to see a handful of female stylist in places like Shanghai, you know, major metropolis, suppose they are more open for new cultures and stuff.
Anyway, like what I was doing back in Malaysia, I usually have my own designated hair-stylist, for one simple reason, they know how I want it done. I would normally give him “guidance”, if he is new as to how to cut it and what to look out for. To some point, I feel like I am the hair-stylist myself. Wahahaha! Only not the one holding scissors. So, I am doing the same in China. Yea, I know, I am vain! Haha. (Ain’t that right, Ian? Been infected by your insane vanity virus!) Some of you might have noticed, I have been having the same hair style for the past decade, maybe more, now you know why. Haha!

And for all these, it’s only gonna cost RMB30. (RM15 for Malaysia/USD5 for the US) Only in China, brothers and sisters! Come give it a try!

Things to accomplish before I retire

I recently came across this topic at one of my friends Facebook and been thinking to write something about it. It's an interesting and mind boggling topic, at least for me . You know like sometimes people love to dream about things that are far from reach, while at the same time, attainable? The kind of feeling that somehow makes you realize you could actually be able to make things happen? The one that gives you the boost to make you work extra hard the next day? That is what it is and I would bet that a lot of people love it.

I guess I shall start dreaming ... :)

The list ...

1. To own a cozy coffeeshop that sells cheesecakes, good coffees and serves American food. The one that caters for friends and family to hang out and chill.

2. To be able to rebuild a car on my own, in my own garage. Get down and dirty.

3. To get my family a little American styled home to live in. Moderately sized and has a nice lawn.

4. To be able to play a musical instrument for real.

5. To make enough dough for my family and I to continue to live happily ever after. :P

The fact is that I can go on and on and on about what I want but I guess it would be too lengthy, therefore, for the sake of easy reading, I keep my list at 5. Will continue if I can think of anything else in the future. Haha ...
